January pax at 36,772 are 14,822 (28.7%) down on last year.

TOP 6 – Katowice. 5,337. Alicante. 4,426. Gdansk. 4,146. Poznan. 3,316. Tenerife. 3,158. Sharm el Sheikh. 3,108.

Passenger Landmarks and Records :

Wizzair passed the 500,000 mark in January. Sharm el Sheikh had its best month ever with a total of 3,108 passengers in January.

October flights are now on sale for all 5 destinations.

Thomas Cook

The flight to Dalaman on a Wed. is now reported to be operating with a Boeing 757 200

Cruises

The following are the cruise flights in March:

Friday 5th – scheduled to arrive from Bournemouth 07:40hrs and out to Acapulco via Sanford as TOM 198 at 09:40hrs.

Friday the 12th – scheduled to arrive from Gatwick at 08:25hrs and out to Barbados as TOM 016 at 10:05hrs (Note this cruise does not have a return flight, it is the last cruise of the winter for Ventura and pax return direct to Southampton on the ship).

Sunday 14th – TOM 185, scheduled to arrive from Montego Bay at 06:55hrs and out empty to Cardiff at 07:55hrs.

Saturday 20th – TOM 805 scheduled to arrive from Barbados at 06:15hrs and out empty to Manchester at 07:25hrs. - This is the last cruise flight of the 2009/2010 winter season!

Aer Arann will operate a new daily route to DSA starting on 28 March 2010.
The services will be branded as 'Aer Lingus Regional', but will be operated using Aer Arann aircraft and crew, and they will be sold through the Aer Lingus website.
